Privacy

Hadir brings invitation design, guest management and event responses into one place. This notice explains what information the service uses and where hosts and guests have choices.

Last updated 22 September 2026

Information Hadir uses

Account holders provide account details through Hadir’s sign-in provider. Hosts may add event details, guest names and contact details, invitation content, photographs, music, wishes, gift registry information and receiving details for Salam kaut.

Guests may provide an RSVP, party size, wish, gift reservation details or other information requested in a guest flow. Technical records used to protect and operate the service may include timestamps, request identifiers and security events.

Why it is used

Hadir uses this information to create and publish invitations, manage guests and co-hosts, record responses, provide gift and giving features, protect accounts, diagnose faults and answer support requests.

Hadir does not currently install advertising analytics on the public site. If measurement practices change, this notice and the relevant choices will be updated before that tracking is introduced.

Published and private invitations

A published public invitation can be viewed by anyone who has its link. A private invitation link is connected to a specific guest and can be used to view or update that guest’s RSVP, so recipients should keep it private.

Hosts decide what invitation content is published. Public wishes and gift availability can be shown on an invitation. Guest contact details and gift reservation contact details remain in host tools and are not included in public invitation metadata.

Service providers and storage

Hadir relies on service providers to run the product, including Clerk for account authentication and Amazon Web Services for application and media infrastructure. Invitation media may be stored in object storage. A host can optionally add YouTube music, which loads through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player when a guest uses that invitation.

These providers may process information in the places where they operate. They handle information under their own security and privacy commitments as well as Hadir’s configuration of their services.

Browser storage and cookies

Necessary sign-in cookies keep account holders authenticated. Hadir also uses a site-language preference cookie and browser storage for preferences such as interface language and invitation music mute state, and for limited recovery of editor or RSVP sessions. The public marketing site does not currently use advertising cookies.

Your choices

Hosts can edit or remove much of the event and invitation content from their workspace. Guests who need an RSVP corrected should contact the event host using the details on the invitation. Account holders can contact Hadir about access, correction or deletion requests.

Hosts are responsible for having permission to upload photographs and to add guest information. This includes photographs of children and contact details supplied by family members.

Retention and security

Information is kept for as long as it is needed to provide the event service, preserve the integrity of published invitations, resolve disputes and protect the product. Different records may have different retention periods. Hadir uses access controls and tenant separation for private host data, but no online service can promise absolute security.
